Red Balloon is a new song from Lauren Bruno that provides a child’s perspective on Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Lauren, who has firsthand familiarity with the diseases, wrote the song following a benefit concert where she met Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready. McCready (who frequently speaks about his own experience living with Crohn’s) later performed the song with Lauren.
